This is a quick comparison and review of some of the top selling best wireless sytems on the market. The four units tested include the Netgear Orbi RBK50, Google Wifi, Eero Pro 2nd gen, Ubiquiti Amplifi HD, and a Ubiquiti NanoHD Access Point.
Ubiquiti is a company known for enterprise-level wireless systems. Today we're looking at their $299 mesh wireless router called the Amplifi HD. This is a very elegant system that is easy to setup and use. The app is polished and also easy to use. The Amplifi App is probably one of the best wifi router apps I've seen even though it lacks some advanced options.
Logitech has recently changed the names of their remotes/hubs. Please see below for new naming information:
Harmony Smart Control = Harmony Companion
Harmon Home Hub = Harmony Hub
All of Logitech's hubs can be controlled using the Harmony smartphone app. All of the hubs are also capable of connecting with other smart hubs such as SmartThings, Alexa, Lutron, and Hue.
The Harmony Companion/Smart Control comes with the Harmony hub and the RF remote. The smart remote works through the Home Hub and both of them require an internet connect in order to function.
This video is a review, comparison, and overview of Logitech Harmony Smart Control, Companion, and Harmony Home Hub.
